Waste heat recovery / heat recovery at industrial furnace

As a general contractor, Birk supplies a ready-to-install waste heat recovery system for hot water generation to a long-standing customer in the field of technical ceramics.

The system is designed for exhaust gas temperatures of up to 1000°C, making it possible to recover more than 650 kW of heat output with a volume flow of only approx. 2135 m³/h. The waste heat recovery system is used to generate hot water at 90/70°C, which is fed into the plant's own network. The tube bundle of the waste heat recovery system is designed in such a way that it can also be used directly for the production of thermal oil without any subsequent adjustments.
