Thermal post-combustion plant at high-temperature industrial furnace
Birk supplies an industrial cooling plant as subcontractor to a renowned industrial furnace manufacturer. The furnace cooling plant was designed for a continuously available cooling capacity of 62 kW.
The plant has a special arrangement of all plant components, such as pumps, heat exchanger unit, storage tank, etc., in order to meet the limited space conditions of the customer at the installation site. The primary cooling water circulation is triple redundant in order to be able to continuously provide the required cooling water circulation quantity or power in the event of component failure, pump failure or power failure.
In addition, the complete primary circuit piping on the plant side is made of high-quality stainless steel in order to meet the high demands on plant availability and long-term stability. The system is controlled and operated via the in-house PLC S7-based control system with touch display.
