Thermal afterburning plant at dewaxing furnace

The company Birk supplies a thermal afterburner / thermal exhaust gas purification to a renowned developer and manufacturer of implants for the equipment and expansion of its in-house production.

The exhaust air purification plant was designed for a raw gas volume flow of 80 m³/h from the exhaust gases of an upstream dewaxing industrial furnace. The plant has a special design of the raw gas inlet as well as a customer-specific arrangement of the other plant components in order to meet the limited space conditions at the installation site. This also played a decisive role in the design of the piping of the individual media.

In order to prevent the reduction of the in-house and on-site production areas, a special platform for installation above the furnace plant was designed for the post-combustion plant. The plant is controlled and operated via the in-house SPS S7-based control system with touch display. The plant is designed as a compact unit, which means that it is delivered ready for operation, i.e. completely electrically and mechanically installed.
