Thermal afterburning at biogas plant
The company Birk delivers a ready-to-operate thermal afterburning plant / thermal exhaust air purification plant of downstream heat recovery in horizontal design to a renowned energy company in Austria.
The post-combustion plant / exhaust air purification plant was designed for a raw gas volume flow of 120 mn³/h from exhaust air of an upstream biogas plant. The plant is equipped with a downstream integrated heat recovery system from the clean gases to generate hot water 90/70 for process preheating. The combustion plant has the latest burner generation of our self-developed industrial combustion plants - for best clean gas values, low energy consumption and high flame stability.
The post-combustion plant was designed for outdoor installation. In addition, it has a full-surface contact protection in the entire area of the combustion chamber jacket, designed as a perforated plate, which gives the system an elegant appearance in addition to its protective function. The system is designed as a compact unit, which means that it is delivered ready for operation, i.e. pre-installed electrically and mechanically.
The entire control, regulation and monitoring functions of the system are performed by an in-house control system based on Siemens S7, which is equipped with a user-friendly visualisation with touch function.
